You can get started by going through the Production API documentation. 

You will need a free Leonardo.Ai user account to logon. The Production API documentation will guide you to getting an API plan and creating an API key. Then it will walk you through your first image generations.

You can get a Basic API Plan for 9 USD. The Basic API Plan will give you access to all the Production API features so it’s appropriate for getting started, learning about the features, and testing.

We offer Basic, Standard, and Pro API plans with different plans offering higher amounts of credits. Custom Monthly Plans are also available with discounted prices for higher image generation volumes, if you plan to use at least 1M images per month.

Should you require more than 1M credits/month, please contact our team and we can discuss your needs with you.

Yes. Your input images are exclusive to you.

Yes. You can delete your input images using the Delete Init Image API endpoint.

No. Your input images are never used for training. Input images do not get fed to a “giant model” that learns from the input. Instead, we extract initialization parameters that influence the image generation process.

Yes. To enable this feature, set the parameter public to false when calling the Create a Generation of Images API endpoint.

No. Your images are never used for training.

As per Section 3 of our Terms of Service, you retain ownership of all inputs you provide to the services. Furthermore, Leonardo.Ai assigns to you all rights, titles, and interests in the outputs generated and returned by the services based on your input. As a Leonardo.Ai platform user, this means you own all content you generate using the platform. For more details, please refer to Section 3 of the Terms of Service.

Yes. We offer API access to Training a Custom Model.

Yes. You can train a custom fine-tuned model within Leonardo.Ai and you can use that for image generation. To use your own custom model, specify the model ID in the parameter modelId of the Create a Generation of Images API endpoint.

We publish the default limits in our API Limits page.

We are able to do this for custom API plans, where the minimum monthly spend is 1M credits/month. Please reach out to us to discuss an increase of your concurrency on your account.

Yes, you can use the images you generate on the Leonardo platform for commercial purposes. Read more here.
